DWA Restrict Tool to Review-Only

DWA comes with 2 license types Review and Edit.

DWA can also use DOORS licenses.

When a user logs in DWA looks for a review license. If the user tries to edit DWA will then try to get an edit license.

If no DWA licenses are available at login then DWA will try to use a DOORS license.

What happens if an organisation wants to restrict the use of DWA to be read only and to require users to use DOORS to carry out editing?

They would deploy DOORS licenses for the DOORS users and DWA Review licenses for the DWA users.

But what happens if a DWA reviewer tries to edit? DWA will try to get a DOORS license. Is there any way to prevent DWA from using DOORS licenses so its use is effectively restricted to being a Review-only tool?

If you separate the licenses onto two different licens servers one for DWA licenses only and one for the full licenses and make sure that the interop only knows about the DWA licens server, that should do it.
